@Tr_Anderson22 Agree to the 1% with being pushed...disagree with the rest of that, shot clock will make bad teams worse with more embarrassing scores. Taking end of game strategy away from the winning team is a terrible idea!

@CoachDaul The “1%” got to the 1% because they were pushed and challenged. Let’s continue to push not only them, but all other athletes. More possessions, more decisions, more reps are going to get everyone better. Not only the 1%.

Great WIAA Divison 1 semi final game happening at the Stare Tournament… until the final four minutes when the winning team can hold the ball for the last 4 minutes. If only we had a way to fix this🤔

@Tr_Anderson22 Absolutely but we are doing that without the shot clock already. Look go back and forth, reality is, it's only better for fans. HS basketball isn't about fans.

@CoachDaul Makes our players better in the long run. They will get better at making decisions. Actually playing the game. Not just running a set or pattern. Athletes in the state are going to UConn, Minn, Wisco, etc. do we really think they’re not skilled enough to play with a shot clock?

@Tr_Anderson22 How does it do that? How does it actually makes players better? I can understand it makes it exciting and more fan appealing in the final two minutes but does not make the game any better in the first 34

@CoachDaul I disagree but thanks for sharing your point of view. No team is being punished with a shot clock. Makes the game more exciting and will make our players better.

@Tr_Anderson22 With all due respect. The shot clock wouldn't have changed the game. In fact you could argue not having the shot clock helped ND and how aggressive they played turning the game around with a shot to win the game at end. Again don't punish the winning team for winning.

@CoachDaul I don’t have an issue with what they did. It’s what is in our rules. I have an issue that we cannot pass a shot clock.

I am VERY much pro shot clock. We even do a shot clock drill at practice daily I also want to do whatever I can to help our team win Last year in Final 4 the other team stalled w/ 10 minutes left on us. He probably wants a shot clock too Until WIAA advances, teams will do this

4 things needed right now in high school basketball: 1. Shot Clock. 2. Balanced sectionals (might take care of seeding issues). Place teams late in season. 3. Don't run bracket until all the games are played. Every game! 4. An appeals process to fix seeds.
