my flex support cancelled scrim a week ago told me he couldn't make it i rescheduled everything around it found the vods to review instead restructured the whole block today he messages the group "bro i thought we had a scrim" mandatory triple blocks until further notice he did this to himself i'm doing it for the team Think the Blobz way.

failed my Roman history exam well. found out two weeks after scrims ran til midnight exam was at 9am walked in flow state. locked in. filled the bubbles. moved on walked out thought "probably did alright" then didn't think about it again not once two weeks went by got it back yesterday 68 class average was 84 felt something for about 5 minutes then started thinking about queuing ranked here's the thing about pressure i can't feel it on a Roman history exam not when there's a scarier thought living in my head every single day the ceiling a 68 doesn't scare me a plateau does Rome wasn't built in a day every railgun shot you've ever seen was thousands of hours before it every clip that made your jaw drop was someone who decided what they were building and didn't look up from it didn't care what they failed along the way some things aren't worth the anxiety and some things are worth every bit of it Overwatch is my Rome Think the Blobz way.

enemy team paused the scrim someone disconnected we didn't stop no "breaks" we pulled up the VOD fixed our positioning talked through the win condition the pause lasted 4 minutes we didn't waste a second of it that's the difference between a team that wants to win and a team that's HUNGRY to win when the game is paused, your mind shouldn't be when the game resumed they felt it immediately we knew exactly what we were doing and why they were just reacting nobody's coming to hand you a pro career not a pause not a disconnect the only thing that stops us is the final scoreboard and even then we're already thinking about the next one Think the Blobz way.

she told me she needed more of my time i said i have scrims at 8 she said "you always have scrims" i said "i know" she asked me to choose i sat with it for a second genuinely considered it then remembered i hadn't watched my VOD from last night yet she cried i felt bad then i opened the VOD anyway i wasn't choosing Overwatch over her i was choosing the person i'm trying to become over the person i was comfortable being she wanted me present i was present just not there every missed date was an 8-12 every ignored text was a comp game every "why do you care so much" was proof she didn't understand what this was she needed someone with more time i needed someone who understood i didn't have any we were both right no breakfast until i VOD no sleep until i study Think the Blobz way.
