@ODUNMADEIT Hmm... a dark reminder of how I lost my Dad 32 years ago. My kid brother fell into a not too deep well, my Dad who was asleep after work was called, after several attempts by Hausas he decided to get his Son by himself and sadly passed after my brother had been taken out...

I lost a family member couple of days ago and the situation that led to his death doesn’t make any sense to me anytime i think about it. He got back from work around 9 to 10 pm, immediately he got in, his family told him their dog fell into an abandoned well without water since afternoon or evening o, he left hurriedly without even sitting down or asked for food or water, guess what my uncle did,🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😩😭. You guessed right bruhhh,They said the well has almost 40 rings, they called fire fighters after every effort to pull in back out failed, the hausa people they called got half depth and fainted because the well was hot and their is no water in it, they had to pull in out, it was until the next day they could get my uncle out of that hot well, and he was buried that very day just like that.

@diego4milan @jargobann I’ve been following FC Robo and Coach Osahon is undoubtedly a top female football Coach. Sadly, it doesn’t work like that. Did he apply for the job? Was he willing to leave CERTAINTY for UNCERTAINTY? If he did, did he pass their interview? Too many question… 😊

@jargobann Hmmm… Do you know the quality of players he’s working with at Pacesetter? Do you know the working conditions at Pacesetter? Can you compare it with the National Team setup? If you’ve never managed a football team for at least 2 years I believe no one should talk like this

@AirtelNigeria My Airtel ODU device has failed to connect to mobile network and isn't connecting to the Internet. It's been 24hrs since I subscribed and the Customer Service Rep is saying it'll be resolved soon. I however can browse on my mobile phone with the same network. Tired

Omo, na yesterday I know say de@d body cost pass living being. Everything was going well at the market yesterday until these two women came towards us for announcement with the picture of the deceased in their hands. According to them, the husband died few months ago and after a short while the wife fell ill and followed living their not so grown children behind. Here's where it gets annoying, the people who came to announce were actually soliciting for money for ambulance 🚑 to help carry the couple home from Warri down to Auchi, Edo State for proper burial in their hometown and the ambulance has charged the children ₦1million to take the bodies home, which is about ₦500k per body. With no help from the both families, the children had to reach out to the market authority so as to help them raise money from traders. I was really surprised, because on a normal day, Warri to Auchi isn't more than 20k but for dead persons it's 1million? Omo 💔💔

@AbuAzeezAbolaji The truth responsible for this is that a lot of Grassroots Coaches don’t have the capacity to commit to player development (technically and tactically ignorance) and some players join teams with the mindset of continuing the exact way they play street football.

I had to stop training with this boys because i felt it was my duty to correct some wrongs , then the coach calls me to tell me not to bother myself cos that place isnt a correction center , Bruv how i go ignore young boy wey dey train, wey go the do video call wen him dey jog
ABU AZEEZ@AbuAzeezAbolaji

Go to many grassroot teams (Not all), its just jogging and straight kpam , the day i begged a grassroot coach to play 2 touch and corridor games, many of the players begin squeeze face , i had to stop it cos even the coach dont like it , you might not like it but many grassroot players in the country got talents but not well trained , and many are overhyped cos the coach has to hype them well so as to see his sherebe for the parents

Dear Footballers! You can't be 27 years & still be playing amateur football in an academy. At 27, you should be playing in a professional league i.e NPFL/NNL. Staying in an academy at that age is a total waste of your time. My advise - go back to school or you go learn work.

@Teamgrassroots_ As a grassroots Football Coach, I’d say your 7 year old needs to be a 7 year old! He’s at the developmental level, all he needs is an environment where HE WILL PLAY AND HAVE FUN WITHOUT PRESSURE. Game time is priority and I’d say is current team is WHAT HE NEEDS NOW.

🗣️Parent asking for advice from fellow parents Hi everyone, I'm reaching out to see if any other parents have been in a similar situation and can offer some advice. My 7-year-old son is currently facing a decision about which team to play for and I'm struggling to figure out which option will be most beneficial for his development. At the moment, he's playing on a team with all of his schoolmates and has become a key player, especially in the midfield. He's really taken charge of the game, making great passes, putting in strong challenges, and even scoring a few goals. Over the last few months I've taken him to a couple of training sessions with other teams to see how he feels playing without his friends, and he’s handled it really well—no issues at all. One of these teams is interested in signing him, but the downside is that he may not get as much game time as he does now. On the plus side, they have more exposure and regularly have scouts at their games, which could lead to more opportunities down the line. So, my dilemma is this: do I keep him at his current club where he’s getting plenty of game time, even though there’s less recognition and fewer opportunities for advancement? Or do I move him to a new club with greater long-term potential, but with less guaranteed playtime in the short term? He’s having a hard time deciding himself, so I’d really appreciate hearing from any parents who have faced a similar choice. What did you do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Before cancer APC came, primary school teachers were buying cars like handsets. Opel Omega, Nissan Bluebird, Toyota Carina II, Toyota Carina E, Toyota Starlet, Nissan Primera, Toyota Corolla. Not only that, primary school teachers were building houses and had side businesses.
