"Hitters who hit more, hit more." I strongly disagree. Some of the hardest workers I've coached under-perform (compared to the work they put in) I was one of them. It's the mental side. - Anxious. - Nervous. - You care so much it works against you. I remember shaking in the box because I wanted to be so good. It wasn't fear of the competition. I just cared too much I didn't need more reps. I needed to train winning. I needed to focus on scoring runs. I needed to stop thinking about ME and start thinking about scoring runs for MY TEAM. When you shift your focus from yourself to YOUR TEAM, your energy transfers. That's when the swing you worked your butt off, shows up.

An Open Letter to the WIAA regarding my resignation

@PaulCharchian @JOECOOLSKOL Vikings play 8 home games a year, Twins play 81, it’s not the same.

@JOECOOLSKOL Vikings fans showed up in 0 degree temps at TCF, because they liked the team and product.

I mean it was a Monday game, and it was like 30 degrees, but engagement bait go brrr so I guess

UPDATE: The Spartans will travel to Prescott tonight instead of hosting due to poor field conditions in Somerset. 4:45 game time. JV will play in Somerset as scheduled

@M_Gerber17 So much more goes into hitting than mechanics and swing. This is what the majority of even the industry doesn’t understand. Real world experience on approach is what’s missing. Give me 9 guys with solid approaches over 9 guys with nice swings!!
