Foxes JV and Varstiy both took wins vs. Kaneland. @AliviaLathen was 4/4 at the plate with both a bunt for a hit and a home run. 9 different Foxes had hits in the game. @EllieFox2026 took the win in the circle and the Foxes defense was strong behind her. TEAM WIN!! #wdcydcy 🦊 🥎

Yorkville opens the SPC play with a 2 set victory against Plainfield North: 25-18, 25-18. Foxes were led by strong serving, and earned points in the middle. The victory moves Yorkville to 4-4 overall and start 1-0 in the SPC.

The Freshman Foxes swept non conferance oppenent Lincoln Way West at both levels. Freshman A won by a score of 25-10, 25-11. Freshman B won by a score of 25-14, 25-17. Freshman A improves to 6-0 and Freshman B to 2-0 on the season.

I lost my fishing buddy today. My brother passed away this morning after battling cancer for the past 4 years. Sad day for our family. RIP little brother. 🙏

Varsity takes home 2 wins today. @peytonlevine42 had the win in the circle in game 1 and @SarahCarlsonSb8 and @EllieFox2026 combined in game 2. Clutch hitting by @AliviaLathen, @BEkwinski & @EllieFox2026 put the game into extras. @jensenkrantz closed the game with a walk off.

Who is that getting a couple innings against Oklahoma on opening day of Love’s field…yep it’s former Yorkville pitcher @MadiReeves18. What an awesome opportunity to pitch against some of the best hitters in the nation! Way to go Madi! Keep working we are very proud of you!

Our family is complete💞 Kelly and I have adopted a sweet baby boy! Our son, Alexander Gregory, was born Tuesday, September 12. It's been a challenging week as he needed surgery to repair an omphalocele he was born with. But he is healing well at Luries. He is a strong brave boy.
