Congratulations to Coach Jack Leavitt, a McGraw graduate, and swimming hall of famer, who led the Georgetown University to their 3rd straight Big East Conference championship!

Ethan Curran earned points with an 8th place finish in both the 100 and 200 free, while Drew Hebert achieved an 8th place finish in the 200 IM and 7th place in the 100 fly. Ronan Sanzone scored points in the 100 breaststroke, and Esteban swam strongly in the relays. Well done!

Congratulations to the MC boys’ swim team on an incredible day, finishing 12th in the North Sectionals at WPI. The MC relays performed well, securing 11th place in the medley relay and 13th in the 400 free.

Congratulations to Senior Drew Hebert for winning the Cannonball Championship for the second year in a row! Drew is pictured with the judges: Bill Sullivan, Teacher Brendan Sullivan, and Coach Ken.

Ethan Curran made sectionals in 50 free, and sectionals and states in 200 free and 100 free. Ronan Sanzone made sectionals and states in the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke. Good luck next week at North Sectionals!

This group of swimmers also qualified for state and sectionals in the 200 free relay and the 400 free relay. Additionally, Drew Hebert broke the school record in the 100 butterfly with a time of 54.82. Drew also made sectionals and states in 200 free, 200 IM, and 100 free.
