@CathleenLacey @SC_ATLL I totally agree! Not every email requires an immediate response either. I tell my mentees the same thing. I coach them to take a pause, digest the contents, and then act accordingly without emotions-just facts. ♥️

A5. I’m learning that not every situation needs a response. Sometimes honoring my humanity means noticing something, understanding it for what it is, and choosing where my energy is best spent. #LoveSCSchools @SC_ATLL

A3: My 1% amazing is listening to students and meeting them where they are. Students often express not being heard by their teachers or administrators. I give students space and ensure their supports are implemented with fidelity. #lovescschools @SC_ATLL

A2: As a special education educator, it seems like there is not enough time in a school day to get things done. To protect my peace, I breathe and tackle priority tasks first to ensure I am compliant with paperwork. #lovescSchools @SC_ATLL
