The #Dolphins are hiring Kent State special teams coordinator/tight ends coach CJ Conrad as an offensive assistant, a source tells @CBSSports. As a player, Conrad was an All-SEC tight end at Kentucky and played in the NFL. Now emerging as a quick riser in the coaching space.

This D1 Transfer Portal is going to be unlike any other so far. Not only is there one window, but it's only open for 15 days starting on January 2nd with most schools starting classes no later than January 20th. It's unlikely a recruit: - Trips 3-4 schools - Commits - Signs - Gets Accepted - Enrolls - Finds Housing - Moves All in 18 days or less? This isn't the December portal last year with 2 months to decide or the May window that gave you all summer. The time crunch is as tight as its ever been. And that's IF you find a spot.

NAU HC Brian Wright spoke on the challenge of retaining players at the FCS level. Wright said the team conducted its own study and found that only 14% of players who left NAU or the Big Sky conference have moved on to play more snaps or the same number of snaps as they did at their previous school ⬇️ “A lot of guys are leaving, and losing out, and missing out on opportunities, and I think it's a shame, and we’ve got to get a handle on this...” @AZHSFB
