@DanCevette I heard a horror story of a player on a visit to a prominent D3 school in a top conference in the country. While in the dugout the players mom said “I’d rather my son not play baseball than play D3” sometimes it comes from the parents too!

One of the biggest mistakes I see in recruiting... 👇 Young players acting like certain opportunities are "beneath" them. A chance to play college baseball...at the NCAA Division I, II, III, JUCO, or NAIA level - is something very few people ever get. Someone believes in you. Someone is willing to invest time, money, coaching, and a roster spot in your future. That's not something to take for granted. That's something to be humbled by. Be grateful. Keep developing. Keep earning. The logo on the jersey doesn't determine how far you'll go. Your work ethic, development, and performance does. ⚾️

Every runner on every team I coach, from 15u to MLB, has the green light to steal third because they’ve drilled daily the four checkboxes: technique, timing, distance, and anticipation. If all four fall into place, they can’t throw you out. So low risk, high reward.

@_FromTheField @NYGDaily If the o line plays the same, he'll be just as effective as Eli but will throw it deep more. With Herbert you'll have his mobility to work with and can improve his arm in the meantime
