Took a few innings for us to shake off the rust, but the new look Bucs eventually got down to business w/their first two games of ‘26 against Huntingtown (defending 2A state champ) and South River. Next up is the home opener versus 4A Severna Park (Tue, 3/17/26 @ 4pm).

After becoming HC this year, I laid out plans for the future of our program. A parent stopped me and said, “I don’t remember training this much, is this really necessary?” 6.5 months later we beat the defending state champions and started preseason 2–0. Yes. It’s very necessary.

HC @CoachJackCheney & the KIHS baseball program helped wrap presents for this year’s Shop with a Hero event. The program pairs first responders w/local children to go Christmas shopping. Our guys arrived early & got to work. The smiles on the kids’ faces was awesome. Great event!
