Arm action! Really smooth, effortless delivery. All 3 pitches are there in the zone with run. This winter we worked on adding a little sink to his 2 seam. Velo will continue to jump as we purposely started throwing later than the guys who will peak too early.

We made a few adjustments with Owen this winter. Directional, new breaking ball grip, trying to loosen up the arm action. Still work to do, but he is in the right projection. Going to be pretty good.

I think every team in the country is excited and optimistic when they are 0-0 and a couple weeks out from the opener. But I feel like some things are really coming together for this program this season.

It is what it is, but I’m not a huge fan of college football players making announcements that they are coming back to the team they were just on. Is that really necessary?

Per @KendallRogers, @EMU_Baseball Head Coach Robbie Britt has resigned effective immediately to accept the position of Field Coordinator for the @redsox. Britt leaves EMU after two seasons for the Eagles. Per the EMU Baseball website, Trevor Beerman has been named Interim Head Coach.

I think strength coaches are the most under appreciated coaches in athletics. Went to a college football game tonight where Team A’s strength coaches used to be with Team B when they were a top program. That coach is now with Team A, who dominated Team B physically tonight.
