The amount of “#1 recruiting services” in this country is impressive. 🤦‍♂️ Sales 101: Create urgency when you don’t have a real product. “Last chance.” “Coaches are still looking.” “We’re your last hope.” That’s not recruiting — that’s pressure selling. Spend your money however you want… just do your homework. Or don’t — and pay $75 for a 20-minute “consult.” Your call.

When asked about the value of the Athletic Period, 81.12% of student-athletes said they’ve used what they learned in athletic period in other areas of their lives, and 89.52% said it’s the best use of their time during the day. At a time when many districts and policymakers were questioning whether to cut the athletic period, this data made the impact clear: it’s not extra time-it’s essential time. These findings helped the @THSCAcoaches bring real student voice into state legislative sessions and superintendent study councils, grounding decisions in evidence, not assumptions. The full report dives deeper into how intentional coaching and structured athletic periods develop skills that last far beyond sport → shorturl.at/Xx7wT

Marcus Freeman shares why "leading by example" isn't enough. "We don't love leaders by example. Because leaders by example are guys that do what they're told to do, they do everything they're asked, right?" "But they don't say things when their teammates aren't reaching the standard. We can't have that." Real leadership isn't just performing at the standard. It's protecting the standard. "We need more leaders. Guys that are willing to hold their teammates accountable because it's gonna make your teammate better." Accountability isn't about being hard on people. It's about caring enough to not let them settle. "I wanna make everybody in our organization the best they possibly can be. So if I let you cut corners or I don't say something to you when you're falling under the standard, then I'm not helping push you to the best you can be." Leading by example is the baseline. Leading with accountability is the standard. (🎥notredamebusiness )

Most of you have heard pieces of my story.. The truth is I lost my identity chasing wins and losses. I gave Everything I had to a team and a community I loved as a Head Coach.. meanwhile losing myself and my why in the process. A year ago I was at rock bottom, full of shame and in a losing battle with alcohol that suddenly became too important in my life.. I lost control and everything else along with it. I decided to face it head on and checked into treatment on August 19th 2024 in Statesboro, GA to go find myself again. I fully surrendered. During this process, and months of being committed to getting 1% better ONE day at a time, I made a promise to myself and Jesus: if He helped me find myself again and gave me a second chance, I would be the Father I knew how to be and that I’d spend my life sharing what HIS Grace has done for me.. helping others at their lowest, and spreading awareness of mental health and addiction to Coaches and Players across the country. I didn’t choose to run, hide or leave this profession like some suggested, I decided to face the wreckage and get back to what I believe I was put on this earth to do, coach the greatest game on earth and motivate/inspire players to be their best on and off the field. Today, I am ONE year sober. I’m back coaching and living with a new and redefined purpose, and ready to share what really happened. I’m speaking on podcasts that I’ll be posting across the country and to teams throughout the state about my story and how I’ve overcome. My comeback is proof that setbacks don’t have to define us. #WeDoRecover #ComebackSeason #FindaWay #MoveTheChains #FaithOverFear

NEW: Mark Stoops & Eric Wolford spelled it all out perfectly for Tyreek Jemison when he visited last month. Lots of good stuff from one of the best interior line prospects UK has signed in a number of years. on3.com/sites/cats-ill…
