What does it look like to work in college athletics? Everyday is different. Today it was titled, “Adventures in Media Day Backdrops.”

I was talking to a seasoned administrator yesterday, and he said we are the “old heads” in college athletics now. I about died, not because he said it, but my own realization that it’s true. 😩

Parents, if your kid has to play JV as a freshman or even a sophomore…it’s not the worst thing in the world. Stop letting your pride and ego get in the way of what’s best for your kid.

Huge Congratulations to @brooksbayer2027 on his commitment to Pitt State. One of the best defensive talents in the state of Kansas and is coming off a monster junior season (stats speak for themselves) Not only an incredible athlete, but an amazing and high character man who represents Spring Hill greatly! Excited to see what he does in his senior season, part of a defensive unit that @_CoachVaughn_ and @luke_jennings9 create chaos with!

That’s a wrap on our summer @NCAADII Management Council meetings. Thank you to #NCAA staff for your knowledge, prep, & organization. S/O to my DII committee peers. I always feel I leave these meetings learning so much about what other people are experiencing on their campuses.
