Former Texas A&M receiver KC Concepcion opened up on Instagram about his speech impediment — ending the message with #StopTheNegativity — in the wake of the attention he received at the NFL Combine over the weekend.

This hit home. My son has a stutter. While I hope it goes away I hope he never feels belittled or inferior because of it. I want him to know that his speech is not a limitation but a unique part of him. I don’t want my fear of others who may not be as patient when he talks, to deter him from sharing all that God has given him to say and do. Thank you for being bold KC. You are empowering people you may never meet.

Western Michigan is hiring Notre Dame senior analyst Casey McHugh as safeties coach, a source tells @CBSSports. McHugh's played a big role in the Irish having a top 10 defense in opposing passer rating the last 2 seasons. Made previous stops at Oklahoma State and ODU.

Sources: The LA Rams are set to hire Robert Wright as a defensive assistant. Wright is the former DC at Syracuse and Buffalo. In his first year at Syracuse, the Orange went 10-3 and defeated No. 6 Miami. Wright is a Mike Elko disciple with stops at Duke and Texas AM.
