Laila Battle’s historic 2025-26 season has earned her CCS Player an Defensive Player of the Year! Congratulations 🎉

1️⃣ on 1️⃣ & 2️⃣ on 2️⃣ Closeouts Part One - 1 v 1 Offensive player must get inside the FT line before making the pass. Defender must touch below the VB line/Charge Circle. Offense focuses on passing and relocating quickly. Ball is live once the offense gets it back. Part Two - 2 v 2 A second set of players starts high is sprints towards the corner on the initial attack. Once the offense gets the ball back it is live 2 v 2. Defense needs to be aware that they have help to only one side and should push the offensive player in that direction.
