Got to celebrate World Read Aloud Day with Mrs. Miller’s Kindergarten class this morning! Of COURSE I had to pick a book with dachshunds in it—I think Pretzel was a huge hit! ⭐️💙

Mrs. Chismar and Mrs. Begins classes had their visit to City Hall—they learned so much from the Leadership for Tomorrow presentation!! ⭐️💙

4th grade Rising Star Tutors began working with our students in K-1 this afternoon. Excellent engagement seen and reinforcement of foundational skills being practiced!! ⭐️💙

A little behind on posting—monthly Pizza with the Principal’s earners plus our first weekly Starbuck drawing in February!! 🤩💙

Our newest group of rockSTARS of the month!! These students are selected by their teachers for being Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn in all areas of our building. We recognize each group during their lunch hour and invite them to ice cream with the principals!! ⭐️💙

Finally got to celebrate end of the quarter awards with a few of our 1st grade classes on Friday—keep up the great work in the third quarter, STARS!! ⭐️ 💙

2nd grade STEM learners at @PCSDpleasantval did an excellent job showcasing their learning at this yesterday's force & motion Capstone! Marble roller coasters, advertisement videos, magnet mazes, and art work created using gravity and friction were all proudly displayed!

Yesterday, our 3rd graders from Coach Borosh’s class teamed up with their Kindergarten buddies in Mrs. Howard’s class to build gingerbread houses! ⭐️💙

The admin team treated staff to hot cocoa and holiday gifts today—Santa even joined us for some of our visits!! Look closely, Mrs. Boka was also there in spirit!! ⭐️💙

Writing across content areas—2nd graders created Polygon Creatures, then discussed the shapes used to create their creature as well as its measurements! 🤩💙

3rd grade STEM presented their energy efficient model homes at yesterday’s Capstone—as always, there was an amazing turnout and everyone was so impressed with the hard work of our learners! ⭐️💙
