Today we celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day, a day that began in remembrance of Flo Hyman. In 1986, Flo passed away while playing in a professional match in Japan. Flo is recognized as being a leader for equality in women’s sports. #NGWSD #BlackHistoryMonth
