@CoachNickWood I never coached these games in the Fieldhouse, but in more than a decade since leaving Free State, I’ve yet to experience a high school environment that matches those games in the high school gyms.

I’ve been fortunate to coach in the LHS/Free State City Showdown at Allen Fieldhouse. My humble opinion is that we should find a way to work together and get our game back to being played there. It’s an amazing experience for the students, families, and Lawrence community.
