As a coach (special teams, co-RB's, JV offense), to get to experience this with my sons Brett, who is a senior TE, and Brock, who is a freshman suiting up with varsity for the playoffs, has been incredible.
Not much can top this last week, other than maybe 1 more W on Friday.

As we prep for a state championship game on Friday, hard not to be amazed at what our Reedsburg football team has done in the last two years. In 2023, we were 1-8 and averaged 9.6 points per game. We had small senior & junior groups at that time, and with a horrible year for injuries, 13 different sophomores (now senior group) started at least one game. We re-evaluated our program, our strengths, what we didn't have, and made the choice to switch from power spread to Wing-T. After a last-place finish in conference in 2023, we tied for the Mississippi Valley Conference title in 2024 (averaged 27.5 ppg) and were playing as well as anyone at the end of the year, dropping an instant classic to Catholic Memorial in Level 2. Returned lots from last year into 2025, but struggled in some tight games during conference season, dropping three by total of 14 points (two in OT). Lost our All-State-caliber RB in Week 4. Ended up moving QB to RB, and Will Mikonowicz has absolutely dominated. We're averaging 39.6 points per game (up 30 from two years ago) and are second in the state in rushing, averaging 358 yards per game. And in two days, we play for a state championship. #wisfb

Those are the numbers you want. Instead of 3 clips where a pressure was applied on a backup QB and RB who likely had little reps that week.
