4 months ago, Penn State women’s volleyball head coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley was diagnosed with breast cancer. This weekend her team will play in the NCAA D1 Women's Volleyball National Championship. The definition of grit and strength.

I am weeping watching @PennStateVBALL legend Katie Schumacher-coach her team to national championship match while in a battle vs breast cancer. What can’t women do? Just incredible inspirational fighter. Sending you SO much love and support lady!

Every WBB program in the country needs to go to their athletic administration, their conference and the NCAA with these numbers to say if you’re not spending the same marketing dollars on women’s basketball as men’s, you are missing a huge opportunity— and have been for years!
