With the (correct) move to sell the bullpen at the deadline, I'd like to see the Cardinals offer a promotion where three random fans get to pitch out of the bullpen for a game. It's my time to shine. I wasn't a 1994 Twin City Little League All-Star for nothing.

Last week, the MS crew completed summer workouts. 65 students attended between vacations and camps. It was a fun June! I'll be cheering this group on in their various sports as their AP this Fall and then working with many of them through workouts and track afterwards.

46 7th and 8th grade students getting stronger and faster on a Friday morning in March! Their energy was infectious this morning!

We had a great time this week during spring break exercising and improving ourselves on the MS track team. Pictured is the team after today's instraquad meet with our two champions: Tristan and Callyn. We'll welcome many students back from vacation and get back to work soon!

Our All-District players were our All-Staters + LB Blake Nesbitt and OL Andrew Williams. Blake racked up over 100 tackles and produced several turnovers. Andrew was excellent on the OL, helping lead the way to a 9-1 record and a record breaking season on the ground for the team.

Senior RB Jace Kent earned 2nd Team All-State honors! Jace racked up 1,800 total yards and 24 TD's. With his final TD he broke the Kirksville High School career record for total points and tied our single season record for points. Great season, great career, and a great teammate.

Junior OL Bennett Fraser earned 1st Team All-State honors! Bennett was an absolute beast on the line this year combining size with knowledge and technical expertise that is rarely seen at the high school level.

We had numerous state award winners announced by the MOFBCA yesterday afternoon. Congratulations to our players for their outstanding seasons!

Congratulations to our NCMC All-Conference players! These young men were considered to be some of the best in our conference at their individual positions. We have 15 total players being honored and 4 winning awards on both sides of the ball after our 9-1 campaign.

Congratulations to our @KMZU Dream Team honorees! On offense, RB Jace Kent was selected. On defense, LB Blake Nesbitt got the nod. In addition, Coach Gregg Nesbitt was named the KMZU Coach of the Year.

@IamAdamFerg @CoachMayerKHS I don’t know if they were just part of the state tournament or something and didn’t actually play in the championship. But my bro was on the team back then and I remember it was a big deal.

Congratulations to the Festus Tigers for an excellent season! They made it all the way to the state title game for the first time in school history, and that is a huge accomplishment for their program. It was cool to watch my hometown play at Mizzou's stadium.
