A little personal news… After a lot of thought, I’ve made the tough decision to step away as coach of the Norwood girls team. It’s been the honor of a lifetime to coach these incredible young women and to do it alongside a coaching staff that I absolutely adore. Steve, Joey, Liz, & Jim - thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️ Basketball has been one of my true loves in life, but I’m excited to give my other “loves” some extra time & attention - my amazing wife, my family (which includes two basketball-loving nieces), and my tribe of friends. Being called “Coach” has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. To my players - past & present - thank you for letting me be a part of your lives, and for being a huge part of mine. I love you all to my core. Thank you for raising the collective bar and for not settling for anything less. In a world full of “average”, you became great. We talked a lot about life lessons, but #1 will always be to enjoy the ride. I know I certainly have. 💙💛

Tatum Morgan - MVP Maybe for the first time in school history, Tatum earns league MVP. On a nightly basis, gets every team's best defender and best effort. Despite this, Tatum finds a way to land in the top 5 in scoring by being one of the league's top shooters and cutters.

Katie Stierer - All-Star For the second year in a row, Katie earns the All-Star. title. Most obviously, Katie plays with an infectious intensity on both sides of the court. Katie always finds a way to make a positive impact on the game no matter what the circumstances.

Jessi Persky - All-Star Honorable Mention Jessi has done a phenomal job this year at setting her teammates up for success with her great passing. Defensively, Jessi has been asked to guard players from the 1-5, showcasing her defensive versitility.

Not how we wanted the season to end. Credit to Malden Catholic on a great game.

Freshman Maria Martinez hits two free throws with one second left to give Malden Catholic the 49-47 upset win over King Philip. Morgan had 16 and Berthiaume 12 for KP. Most of team back next year.

Always impressed by this team's willingness to FIGHT for their culture everyday. Some days it's good, some days it's bad, and some days it's in between. Today was a great day and I'm a proud Coach.

We host Malden Catholic at 6pm! Did I do my math right? 10/12 teams from the Hock are in the tourney? Incredible!
