For the second time in three years, Forsyth Country Day is taking home an NCISAA boys basketball title. The Furies' play above the rim dug them out of an early deficit in a 69-59 victory over Providence Day in the 4A championship. Jayon Connor, Q Williams, and JR Adams combined for 40 points in the victory.

No doubt the best high school basketball game I have ever watched. The pace, the energy, the competitiveness was absolutely insane. It’s safe to say Forsyth Country Day might be the best team in the state. You don’t see many teams putting up 100 points.

5’9 2027 JR Adams is a spark for the Furies off the bench. Quick, twitchy guard who reads defenders extremely well and knows how to pick his spots. Knockdown shooter who brings energy every possession and is a great teammate who makes winning plays.

6’0 2026 Tyrin Graham is an unsigned senior who deserves a lot more recognition. A confident and consistent perimeter threat with real range, he spaces the floor and hits shots in big moments. A winning-minded guard who makes an impact on both sides.

6’6 2027 Jayon Connor is a D1 calibre player. Plays extremely well in transition, attacking downhill with purpose and finishing through contact. He uses his length and athleticism to create advantages, runs the floor hard, and consistently applies pressure on the rim.

5’10 2030 Rob Welch can go. Plays with maturity beyond his years and has an advanced feel for the game. A threat from deep, attacks closeouts, and keeps defenders guessing with his jab and pump fake. Great change of pace and a polished attacking arsenal. @coachwhitfaye @FCDS_Mens_Bball

6’7 2028 AD Dalton AD Dalton brings a strong, commanding presence on the floor. Runs hard in transition, positions himself well for easy points, and crashes the glass on both ends. Consistent effort and impact in the paint. @FCDS_Mens_Bball

6’0 2026 Tyrin Graham is forcing defenders to step up early. Getting the hot hand from beyond the arc and knocking down shots with confidence. Also productive in the pick and roll, making smart reads and keeping the defense on edge. @TyGraham_2

In my opinion, Forsyth Country Day is the best defensive team in the state across all levels. Nonstop rotations, constant communication, and the ability to adjust to any opponent. They take pride in guarding full court and making every possession a battle. @FCDS_Mens_Bball @BballCoachE
