@FiredCoaches Never heard of it until I took a head coaching job in Fulton County. The kids HAD to join the “umbrella booster club” to participate in the first game of the season. Spent more time the day of the 1st game at the ATM withdrawing my own money than I did setting up the field. Sad

This is no different than the “player fees” many teams in North Georgia charge. Those fees do not restrict a player’s ability to participate if they’re unable to pay. Only difference is the district implementing it, opposed to school-specific fees.
