The worst attitude is one that thinks “that’s not my job.” If it needs to be done, do it. Period! That mindset is not team/staff centered. Self centered folks become cancers on teams/staffs. If you always have to be reminded or told to do your part, you’re not a team player.

I love being a football coach. I'd like to help everyone, but I can't. So hear me when I say this: take your chances and maximize every opportunity. Dominate on the field, but win off it. Build real, lifelong relationships, because football ends. It's the Life after that matters.

Coaching is who you know, not what you know. I’ve chased the D1 goal, but if you don’t know anyone at that level, doors stay closed. Opportunities don’t happen off of resume only relationship. I am still thankful I get to coach the game I love every single day. #Reconciliation
