Ashley Ellis broke Southeast Missouri's all-time career home run record vs. Murray State on May 2, 2021. Ellis ended her career with 53 home runs as the only player in SEMO softball history with over 5⃣0⃣ homers.

Second-seeded Southeast Missouri went 3-0 to win the 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. SEMO defeated #3 Tennessee State and upended #1 Eastern Illinois twice to hoist the trophy. It was the program's seventh OVC Tournament title all-time.

Pitcher Alice Marler was a Second-Team All-American in 1991, Southeast Missouri's final NCAA Division II season. To this day, Marler ranks among the program's top 10 career leaders in 11 different statistical categories.
