What Major sport is the easiest to be good at? I'll start and my answer is Basketball
Coaching high school hoops in 2026 is a wild ride. I’m honestly surprised on a daily basis. Players will miss practice because their aunt’s cat is having a Quinceañera, but then look at the bench with pure, unadulterated shock when they aren't starting in the fourth quarter.

Legendary NYC 🏀 head coach Maurice “Moe” Hicks will be the head coach at @SpellmanBX this upcoming season. For those that don’t know him, he is one of the only coaches to have won a championship in both the @nycpsal & @CHSAA_NYC. He first won a @nycpsal championship in 1991-92 as the head coach at Brandeis High School (now Brandeis Educational Campus) on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He then went on to be the head coach at the now-defunct @RiceHighSchool in Central Harlem, his Alma mater (Class of 1981), where he coached from 1994 through 2010 & won six @CHSAA_NYC city championships, five @NYSFederation championships & two @CHSAA_NYC Catholic state championships. Look out for him & the Pilots in the @CHSAA_NYC B division this season.
