@kmoore1011 @MattKerney Another great venue, especially girls B, is the Huron Arena. Coached in 6 State Tourny's there and an incredible atmosphere for teams and fans!. Friday and Saturday nights at near capacity everytime.

@MattKerney Scott DeBoer is 100% correct. I’ve had a daughter play the past 8 state AA tourneys (not counting 2020). Hands down, no close 2nd, the Pentagon has been the best atmosphere for⛹🏼‍♀️bb. Quote from both girls who played @ the Pentagon in 2024: “I’d pay $ for that experience again.”

Interesting comment made by Scott DeBoer of Huron, who is 1 of the SDHSAA State Event Site Selection Committee members, regarding girls' basketball state venues⤵️ #SDPreps Comment 1 "I don't know if you want any of those girls' tournaments in an 8,000-seat venue." Comment 2 "I would be a vote against any of those girls' tournaments.. A, B, or AA in The Monument or the Premier Center.. It takes away from the experience than adds to it."

Breaking news out of Fargo tonight; WDAY has learned that both head basketball coaches at Shanley have been let go. Stefan Webber and Beth Maher are out. Sources tell me a group of unhappy parents forced the changes for each basketball program.

@StratRedTM How many soldiers have died to raise ethanol? How many wars in the Middle East have been fought to protect ethanol? Been using ethanol forever, and compared the MPG, your so-called 3-5% drop has not been true in my case.

President Trump should fire you immediately. It's obvious you're not a chemist or an economist. Next time you're at the pump eyeing that cheaper ethanol-blended gas, hold up. Sure, E10 or E15 might shave a few cents off per gallon, but here's the real story: ethanol delivers about a third less energy than straight gasoline. Your MPG drops 3-5%, so you end up burning more just to go the same distance. More fill-ups, same (or higher) cost per mile driven. It's not the money-saver they sell it as—just diluted efficiency in disguise. Do the math on your next tank. Worth it? Nah.

@RickBieber81 @silagechopper Yes, the bigger blades. Have well over 7,000 acres on this set of blades. Our deere drill its all we did was change blades and bearings.
