I’m curious why sponsors don’t like “fighting” in NASCAR? Wouldn’t that mean more exposure? How is that viewed as negative with the targeted audience for the products being advertised. People love tough large majority hate “by the book.”

Just because you’re a “fan” doesn’t mean you should “coach.” The X’s & O’s are the 1% of coaching. Watching the game is great but don’t get it twisted, some of us treat this as a profession & some just a hobby that’s a speck of dust in their life.

Coaches wanting to improve. One of the easiest forms to gain leadership/program knowledge is to read. Reading books about others success can be a cheat code. If you’re preaching mental toughness and you’re not mentally tough enough to read then keep spinning your wheels.

A friendly reminder to young players: if a scout refers to you as "long, lean, and projectable," it's not just so that you have good social media self-promotion material. Rather, it's just a nice way of saying you're skinny and need to put in more work in the gym and kitchen.
