I’ve spent all July at AAU tournaments and I think a lot of kids have the game confused. Basketball IQ Is definitely at an all time low. The best player on the floor will make everyone else around them better. It’s not about dropping 30 points or highlight tapes. If you’re talented, that stuff will take care of itself. High school recruitment is at an all time low right now so it’s more important than ever to know how to play the game the right way. Drive and kicks, advancing the ball, extra passes, communication, reading screen coverages, etc… For the kids: Ignore outside voices and trust your coaches who are preaching to you to play the right way.

IECentral wraps up strong AAU Spring/Summer Season in WI. 25 Wins to 7 Losses This included 2 championships & a loss in the U16 Championship Final (52-55) in the @ny2lasports 3 Event Circuit (MAY in Indy, JUL in CHI & WI); ending with a record of 11 W to 3 L in the Live Circuit.
