John Rooney threw the last 2 innings scoreless for AAA OKC. 2IP 0H 0R 5K 0BB Great outing to continue the great momentum he's created. Since the beginning of August (8 outings), he has an ERA of just 2.41 & he has 13 Ks in 11.2 IP. #dodgers

Austin Gauthier continues to do what he does! That would be....gather a ton of hits, stay inside the ball, use the entire field, drive in runs & be just a GREAT overall hitter. He's hitting .327 in AAA so far, OPS .931 & has 21 RBIs in 131 total at bats this year. #dodgers

Austin Gauthier is hitting .474 since his AAA promotion! PCL is hitter friendly because of high altitude locations, but he's played at OKC & Sugar Land & neither are that. K% & BB% are identical at AAA & his BB% was 5.5 points higher than K% at AA. AA WRC+ 161, 234 with AAA OKC. #dodgers

Congrats to Austin Gauthier for being promoted to AAA OKC (per a trusted source). Gauthier was possibly THE best offensive player in the MiLB last year, and is having another great year this year. Super pumped to see him in OKC! #dodgers

Austin Gauthier just unloaded on his 1st HR! I've seen Gauthier get a bunch of hits in his day, but never have I seen him hit one like this, that I can remember at least. Gauthier hit .293 last year, had a BB% of 16.3, a WRC+ of 195 at the High A level & 129 with Tulsa. #dodgers

Atta Baby Gator! Austin Gauthier shot one to RF, which, if you know him, is NO surprise whatsoever. In fact, his oppo % has been higher than his pull or center % at every level. Dude stays inside the ball & hits it where it's pitched better than ANY prospect in the game. #dodgers

If you're surprised Austin Gauthier walked, then let that be the one and only time. Last year he was in the rare air of having a WRC+ over 150, and more walks than strikeouts. As @AustinBru99 has noted, players that do that, just once, have reached the MLB at a 75% clip. #dodgers

No need to use a John Doe placeholder, we know that John Rooney is the MiLB PCL Pitcher of the Week! On Saturday, Rooney pitched the final 2.1 innings for OKC and didn't allow a hit or run with three strikeouts. Over six September games, Rooney is 2-0 and owns a 0.00 ERA!

John Rooney is having a very good year across the AA and AAA levels and is finishing very strong. He's gone 5 outings in a row scoreless, 8 out of his last 9 & has been the master of inducing weak contact. His avg. against this month is just .115. Well done JRoons. #dodgers
