In his web series Break Time, Michael Jr. does stand-up around the country. But in Winston-Salem, he paused to talk with a man in the crowd—a high school music instructor. He asked him to sing… and when the man sang, it was good. Then Michael Jr. said: “Sing it like you know why you’re singing.” The second time was so moving it brought the room to a hush. Same song, same man, but with a different purpose behind it.
