I agree. It’s weird when you give a mobile suit a human like reaction. A reaction is quick, involuntary thing, but every movement of a mobile suit has to be a conscious decision. These things move around with buttons, pedals and levers!

@thejames103 Well in this scenario Hiruhiko doesn't get anything, but I think Samura would pressure Hakuri into giving teleporting Tobimute to him then so he could kill Uruha, so we'd get a true EB clash between them

We see Hiruhiko transport Tobimune and Kumeyuri with his paper butterflies. Makes me wonder what would happen had Hakuri transported Kumeyuri instead of Tobimune? Would he now be wielding Tobimune?

Before I delve into the episodes, I'd like to show some appreciation to Victory's soundtrack. Unlike previous entries which had elements of jazz, rock, and classical music. Victory goes all in on orchestral arrangements, giving it a unique dark fantasy vibe.

Biggest draw in for JJK for me is that the story feels like a myth. Characters are often bigger than their personalities and represent concepts. That's why I love it so much.

One of the biggest problems with Part 2 is the complete ubiquity of Public Safety as a faceless antagonistic force. It is so all-encompassing that several character lose all of their agency in the face of it. Which would be fine if there was more under the hood, but theres not.
