@Brian_Kelly19 How many new players "push" the head of their stick while throwing because their dominant hand is high. Hockey kids usually transition quickly to lax stick skills because they more naturally push/pull while throwing

@Brian_Kelly19 I think stick skill improvement would occur more rapidly. 10% of humans are Left handed. But a higher percentage of Canadian players are LH. A result of hockey stick concepts A good example is the NLL Malcoms. Tony is LH but plays lax RH. Will is RH but plays lax LH.

I’ve always been fascinated with market inefficiencies applied to sports. Moneyball being a classic & well known example. In the early 2000’s there were less than 50 Canadian players at all levels of NCAA lacrosse combined. 10+ of those players were my teammates at a small, random DIII school in Los Angeles — the only NCAA program in the pacific time zone. From 2000-2003, Whittier College went from a club program to an NCAA Final Four team. There are now upwards of 500 Canadians in NCAA lacrosse. From a recruiting standpoint, perhaps the greatest market inefficiency ever exploited? What were some others? Box lacrosse as a training tool was a big one. I believe EcoD/CLA is currently a big one.

Conceptual lacrosse offense: Remove the race entirely — ball movement, deception, on & off ball actions, reads over patterns, and unique spacing that prevents the defense from functioning normally.
