@Kyle_Odegard This theory makes sense except everyone thought this draft would be the QB draft. There are no guarantees next year will be different. Hell, some of them might stay in school another year and get paid. We need to live in the now. Draft the best players this year.

This might go down as his worst offseason for Mike Hazen. Should’ve traded Ketel but overplayed his hand. Inexplicably traded Blaze. Completely neglected bullpen. Took cheapest path at 1B. Also botched trade deadline last year and has whiffed at on a bunch of 1st rounders.

Nothing funnier than using this photo as a prototypical example of targeting when not a single official on the field that day felt compelled to call this targeting. This eventually costing Arizona State the game in a college football playoff. The NCAA is broken.

The NCAA has made slight changes to the punishment for targeting. This fall, a player disqualified for targeting for the FIRST time during the season, regardless of which half of the game it occurs, may participate in the next game. Any player disqualified for targeting a SECOND time during the season will be required to miss the first half of the next game. If a player is disqualified for a THIRD targeting penalty during the season, the player will be required to miss the entire next game (no players were disqualified for targeting three times in the 2025 season).
