Congrats to @MadelynKiper for winning back-to-back SPC MVP awards! Proud of her for receiving this recognition from conference coaches. In SPC play: 25 ppg 6.8 rpg 47% shooting 55% from 2 37% from 3 1.35 VPS

Only 1 8th grader who played varsity basketball (she’s pretty good) but no surprise there are 6 kids going on to play college sports. Coachable, selfless, enjoyed competing together. Fun team to look back at and follow their continued individual success.

Watching IHSA girls basketball state tournament this weekend. It turns out, our first IESA state team 5 years ago was in pretty good company. Washington ranked 1 in 3A, in the Final 4 Pleasant Plains in 2A Final 4 Manteno 27 wins, regional champ

Freshmen boys finished their season 13–13. More important than the record at this stage is the development. They showed growth and identified foundational traits to build on. Personally, I learned a ton to help me be a better coach moving forward. Season leaders below (🧵)
