CAN’T WAIT for this. Huggs once spent 12 straight hours with a recruit and his family. Authentic, uninterrupted bonding time. Huggs sent a text when a family member passed away, somehow knowing about it from a state away. Huggs visited our staff/facility unexpectedly just to say hello and ask for a program T-shirt for he and his wife. Huggs reached out personally to check on well-being of multiple recruits AFTER they committed elsewhere. Huggs spent an entire day speaking at a local D2 event for free — raising funds for that program. Huggs as a P4 HC built and maintained more of a personal/basketball relationship than 90% of ASSISTANTS today. One word for that guy…RESPECT! @CoachHuggs
