Proud of my JUCO playing/coaching career, taught me how to treat, connect, develop & get the most out of our players. Coaching players who love of the game and the love of those you are doing it with.

I get asked all the time about JUCO’s. I’m a JUCO guy myself — and it’s really good football. If you have the opportunity to play anywhere, take it. But understand this: If you think JUCO automatically leads straight to D1, know that most JUCO players end up going to D2, D3, or NAIA. And that’s not a bad thing — that’s real life. So here’s my advice. Take it for what it’s worth: 👉 Go to a school that loves you. 👉 A place that will work for you and with you. 👉 A place that gives you the best chance for long-term success. Love the people around you. Build strong relationships with your coaches, staff, and community. No matter the division — you made it. You’re playing at the next level. Be proud of that. Don’t focus on what you didn’t get. Focus on what you earned. Because 99% of us — our football careers end after college. We’re all the same after that. So use this game as a tool. Let it build you. Let it prepare you. Let it open doors. That’s the real win. 💪🏈
