My sentiments exactly…. We as parents must not rob our kids of the lessons learned from THEIR journey!! Instead, show gratitude and respect for coaches giving our kids an opportunity to grow through sports. No better life training environment when done correctly.

Growing up, Elite players in sports were invited to play with the older guys… it added an element of discomfort that taught toughness and grit. This reclass phenomenon will ultimately benefit the elite players that don’t reclass b/c they get to play against bigger, stronger.

Imagine if more coaches cared about developing players in today’s era. Imagine if more administrators/donors cared about building programs. Imagine if parents cared about kid’s education to leverage the money earned to build a foundation for a lifetime of financial stability. 🤔

Calling the Maryland game allowed for storytelling from perspectives of a former Big Ten player, Big Ten coach & D1 head coach. Helped to have authentic relationships w/ players & staffs. But the ability to see & communicate the game in live action moments was most fun for me!
