We have added another former UTSA star to the roster with the signing of tight end Oscar Cardenas! A four-year starter for the roadrunners, Cardenas finished his career with 95 receptions for 1,138 yards and 9 touchdowns. He was a 3x All-Conference selection and was a semi-finalist for the prestigious William V. Campbell trophy, known as the "Academic Heisman" which is awarded for academic excellence, football performance, and leadership. Cardenas signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2025 and participated in three preseason games last fall.
