Had a great conversation with Kesley last night. Talked about baseball, Green Bay Packers draft, and some deer hunting strategy. Just kidding! Seems so close to talking!

And just like that season is over and most of the girls are gone already. Time to reflect and learn and start preparing for September. Going to have to find a way to be different.

Been a crazy last two weeks with not very many nights home or time with the family. Games got moved this weekend so we got out for a movie! Super Mario was awesome and Marlee loved it!

Had a solid practice today with the girls. Worked through lots of situations and asked great questions. Got better today!

Softball games cancelled today so I’m down in Burlington getting in some recruiting. Hoping to find some future #Warriors

Afternoon spent in the D-Jack with Miss Marlee Mae. Did her e-learning and messed around in the turf room.

So thankful for the opportunity to volunteer at the Night to Shine event alongside our @WaldorfSoftball girls. It was an incredible evening full of so much Good! Will absolutely be doing that again!

Tuesday's team talk was all about pride. When is pride a good thing? When can pride become an issue? Four steps we can take to become less self-centered. 1. Recognize and admit your pride 2. Express Gratitude 3. Look to serve others 4. Laugh at yourself Team before me!

Had a great time playing with Southeast IA Allstars this weekend! We went 6-0 for the weekend. I won tournament MVP hitting .750 and 9 RBIs. I also hit 💣#88 and 89! Thank you @seia_jones for letting play with you guys this weekend. I had a blast! @PG_Softball @ChrisjSb

Study tables are always how we start our week. Allows us to get organized and prepared for what’s coming. We are STUDENT athletes! Coaches are always there too!

It's game week! Excited to see where we are at and get a baseline set. We talk every day about our goals of improvement and starting to #Climb We are going to learn a lot about ourselves this weekend and I can't wait for it!
