@mreroberson Absolutely. My side isn’t perfect by any means. I try to be as honest and up front as possible. I was hoping to help the kid out but he didn’t give me the chance by essentially blocking me after this

@CoachV_GC It goes both ways…I’ve spent big money and time to take my son/players to visit schools where the coaches lie to kid’s faces. The system is broken. If coaches got it right, then the transfer portal would not be as big as it is.

@TrayNix5 Would have tried to recruit him if he had the grades and our application wasn’t closed. Unfortunately he was too late. Was going to try and help guide him a bit but he essentially blocked me

@Cijiyou Was going to try to help him but he essentially blocked me. Trying to help other recruits not make the same mistake. As you see I didn’t include his name so not trying to hurt the kid. Our application is closed so couldn’t recruit him if I wanted to.

I couldn’t recruit as our app is closed. If he had the academic chops & reached out earlier than I would have tried

@bstylesmattapan @CoachV_GC Yep and now coach trying to ruin him for stating facts! This is a coaching opportunity to mentor him or find him someone that can! It’s frustrating and he is still young! Heck I even make mistake at 43 but learn from them!

@AChap51 He messaged me Sunday and our application has been closed for over a month. If he had the academic qualifications and reached out to me before it closed we definitely would have tried to recruit him.

I respect the balls. Back when I played this is exactly how you earned a spot with a D3 program, you ask. Don't act like you're going around "recruiting" talent. You still can't give athletic scholarships and you're turning down people asking for a shot to pay to play for your program?

The Power T Been very good to us over the last 2 years! Great to have physical plays you can trust to pick up a crucial 4th & 1/punch it in on the GL. Teams struggle to line up to it giving you some weird looks but you don't even have to have it all blocked up for it to work!
