Lost a good man this weekend. Kristina’s grandpa went Home to be with the Lord. His soul was beautiful and wanted what we all should desire, that everyone knew and loved Jesus as their Lord. “Well done good and faithful servant”

I see this being an issue in the Church more and more. Simply going isn’t enough for the saved ambassador of Christ. Once you make the commitment of Faith, it’s about giving up our all, taking up the Cross, and following Him.

Lord, help my love for You be in my submission to Your Will for my life.

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9

As the book of Acts concludes, Paul on house arrest still spent time with many people sharing the Gospel. That happened often in Acts. Paul sharing despite circumstances. Resonates to me that we need to “be where our feet are”. We tend to look beyond that and miss opportunities.

Opening the Bible is described as a transformative, supernatural experience that nourishes, heals, and strengthens the soul by acting as a mirror to the heart, guiding life, and providing comfort. It acts as "open soul surgery," piercing between soul and spirit to reveal truth.
