There are some places that become part of who you are forever, and Baylor Softball will always be one of those places for me.
Over the last 22 years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching incredible young women, working alongside amazing people, and being part of a program built on faith, passion, resilience, and genuine care for each other. The wins and accomplishments are special, but what I’ll cherish most are the everyday moments — the practices, bus rides, Bible studies, baptisms, conversations, laughter, and relationships that made this journey unforgettable.
I’m incredibly thankful to Coach Moore, Coach Hoot, Coach Diaz, Dani Price and Coach Lumley for believing in me, supporting me, and allowing me to grow both personally and professionally. Getting to work beside people who care so deeply about their players and this program has been an absolute gift.
To every player I’ve coached — thank you for your trust, your toughness, and the way you showed up for each other every day. Watching you compete, grow, and overcome challenges has inspired me more than you know. You’ve each left a lasting impact on my heart. Iron definitely sharpens iron!
Thank you as well to the Baylor community, alumni, families, and fans for the constant support and love you pour into this program. It truly makes Baylor special.
This decision has not been easy because this program has meant so much to me and my family. Baylor will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’ll forever be grateful for the memories and friendships created here.
I’m excited for what’s ahead, but I’ll always be cheering for Baylor Softball.
