CADETS WIN!!! The CBC baseball team defeated Vianney 6-1 in the Class 6 semifinals on Friday at Ozark Mountain Sports Complex to secure a spot in the championship game at 1PM Saturday against either Rockhurst or Blue Springs South. Senior left-hander Danny Berger (6-1) tossed a complete game and allowed just one run on six hits. Senior center fielder GT Taylor had a two-double, two RBIs, two runs scored and a stolen base. DISTRICT CHAMPS!!! The second-seeded CBC baseball team topped No. 1 seed SLUH 8-5 on Saturday at Mike Shannon Stadium to win the Missouri Class 6 District 3 championship. The Cadets (23-15-1) advance to face Francis Howell Central (25-11) in a best-of-three quarterfinal series that begins on Friday at Howell Central. Men for Tomorrow. Brothers for Life.
