@DavePrichard Most the bodies disappear

I'm gonna share something that isn't popular but needs shared. At 12u and under baseball players with bad bodies can have some success. When you hit the big field at 13 the majority of bad bodies disappear because it doesn't play. I wish more parents understood this.

Coaches, let's talk bootleg. When it works it is such a good play that can hit every level. What are some musts to run a good bootleg play? Can you be successful doing it from the gun?

@coachkou I don’t see a Red 7. Why not just number them 1-?? This band seems to take something simple and make it complex. Love the idea of a wristband to go fast. Love the idea of taking the complex and making it simple vs taking simple (trips right) and making it complex (name).

Using a wristband system when playcalling is great. You can have color codes as well as names meaning the same thing. The five colors represents five formations, and the word means the same as the colors. Call out the name and number. And you are good to go ,, play fast. So Georgia and red seven would mean the same thing ! Formation. Would be 11 spread ? Questions let me know.

@Mark__Porter Been in HS FB for 30 yrs - see it happen all the time. Grades (which by the way, have a "much" stronger correlation to college success, than the ACT) are a measure of a student's desire to meet his HS teacher's expectations;

Maybe someone can explain this to me. You get a 3.5 3.6 GPA, which is really good. Then you score 14-16 on the ACT, which is not good. Either you cheated in high school, forgot everything you learned in HS, or your High School is too easy and did not prepare you?

@ML_WeightRoom @SquatUniversity My 8yr old daughter met me at the weightroom after school today. While my football team was lifting she was working on squats (15lb bar) and pull ups. If they enjoy it, and have supervision, it’s a no brained.
