If you’re... Jumping, landing, decelerating, eccentrically loading, lifting, training on 1 leg, etc.. Then you don’t need to spend $120 on an ACL Prevention clinic. ACL prevention SHOULD just be apart of your program...not a separate program.

I get national pride but a 3rd place FIFA World Cup game is just silly.

Unpopular opinion? USA will never be elite at soccer over long periods of time because it’s not a “religion” to our kids/adults. People loved Landon Donovan/Dempsey but I would say people revered them bigger than person (Messi, Kobe, Jordan, Ronaldo, Tiger, Bolt, Beckham etc..) Even if we have a guy that can rival those guys in skill/star power, it wont last as most USA adults could care very little about soccer lol. We may have a 1 off magical run or player one tourney but we will never be like Europe/SA/African etc.. counties in terms of long term powerhouses. You’ll never see masses of grown men cry when the USA loses. It’s not in our DNA from birth. It’s not all we have to live for. It’s popular at young ages because it’s easy to get into but it’s our 4th-6th most popular sport. Yes our system is not great but imo, it’s god to be in your counties blood to be elite.

“If we can’t consistently teach what a good soccer decision is, then I think we are failing our kids at the youngest levels.” @JimmyConrad believes U.S. Soccer must prioritize teaching the fundamentals of the game from the earliest ages ⚽️🧠

Me when sports parents pause strength training during 10 months of the season. Good luck with that 🙅‍♀️

The American summer model 💸 Kids spend an absurd amount of time playing games than actually developing skills or physically improving with s&c work. Tired/Broken bodies, barely any improvement, emptier wallets and a lot of time away from home. In the end… a lot games played but very little skill/physical improvement over the summer.
