HS Class of 26 and 27 T&F athletes 1. Register with the NCAA eligibility center 2. Start looking at your transcripts and make sure you are taking you education seriously. If not, time to step up. Nothing worse than a bad transcript 3. Check out tfrrs.org and look for conference and ncaa results to see where your consistent marks fall 4. Sit down with your parents and ALL coaches to discuss the improvement plan for the remainder of your hs time. Have open, honest, and respectful conversations (plural). 5. While you are talking with the adults. Be open for feedback about where your maturity is at this point in your young life. Where are you doing well, where do you need to improve.

Of note: - 4x800 had a 13 second PR, and ran the 17th fastest time in CT. They are 1 second away from the school record. - A. Bennett and L. Carta both made finals for the 100.

Attention HS freshman, sophomore, and junior T&F athletes: It is more competitive to get a spot on a roster than it has ever been. Even harder to get any scholarship dollars. College athletics has changed TAKE YOUR SCHOOLWORK SERIOUSLY!!!! Nothing worse than seeing a good athlete with bad grades. Take the attributes that make you a great athlete and put it into your schooling. Just focus. When you are in English class, you shouldn’t be focused on Algebra. You shouldn’t be thinking about track and field at that time either. Be where your feet are.
