@Coach_Jonah Not sure the last time I watched an NFL game and said "that guy isn't athletic enough" Quite honestly, there arent many dudes who had a productive college career (on NFL radar) who arent within the "athletic limit" to play in the NFL, I can't think of any.

NFL Combine is a waste of time outside of entertainment value Every year we put too much stock into this stuff, but nobody can prove these "drills" actually translate to the field On Sundays I don't see 40s, broad jumps, or shuttle drills being tested You notice guys are even starting to skip bench press altogether...

@WillBlackmon From my experience, db has to be fast enough to do lateral step, kick step. Not many Dbs can recover if flat footed at the line of scrimmage. They also tend to reach and lunge more. Motor mirror gives them a fighting chance and a coaching point on film. More dbs can do Motor imo.

Defensive Backs and Coaches. Your thoughts on the Motor technique? I see its benefits which aren’t many, perhaps good for smaller DBs, but I’m not really a fan.
