Why one TSSAA basketball region eliminated its district tournaments tennessean.com/story/sports/h…

The next tier shines with two incredible individuals I've had the honor of coaching alongside at Wilson Central High School, Bud Brandon and John Wild. Both renowned state championship coaches, their dedication and expertise have left an indelible mark on the world of girls' basketball. Bud, a friend I've known since 7th grade, and I shared countless rides to the gym for pickup games, creating memories that I treasure to this day. John, a walking sports encyclopedia with vast nasket all knowledge. Being around these exceptional coaches is a blessing, and their influence continues to elevate Tennessee girls' basketball 🤘🏼. This entire group has made a huge impact on Tennessee girls basketball. Our selection criteria focused on coaches with at least three state tournament appearances, with additional consideration given to those who coached at both public and private schools, ensuring their public school team appearances surpassed those at private institutions. We strive to recognize as many deserving coaches as possible, so please don't hesitate to reach out if we've overlooked someone. The graphics will be added to the BCAT site as well. This remarkable group of coaches embodies the essence of inspiration, and their achievements serve as a testament to the power of dedication and perseverance. What a privilege it is to acknowledge their contributions to the world of girls' basketball! #TNBasketball

.@AlexaCrosby29 opportunities are growing. We didn't chase AAU this season. She chased growth. Her story is only getting bigger.. Special thanks to all those that keep up with her journey. The kid keeps us busy. This picture only gives a small glimpse into the huge news coming in days.
